Well that didn’t take long. A few links from around the web, most importantly from Nick himself and next thing I know I’ve gone from a top of 16 views per day to 350! That may not be much in the grand scheme of things but… wow. I woke up this morning and couldn’t stop smiling after finding trackbacks and comments in my inbox
I highly recommend checking out a post by Judi Sohn; she covers quite a few of the features I described with screenshots. I’ll definitely be posting more about my experiences this week.
One thing I am regretting is not keeping the old alpha builds. Nick clearly didn’t want us using them as the download filename did not change between builds, but they would’ve been good to use for screenshots in my design post. Oh well, you’ll just have to take my word for it ![]()

nice to see you in the wordpress.com community. i was reading through a few of your previous posts and have to admit that i look forward to trying a fresh new feeddemon after a two months of utilizing an online based feedreader [searchfox rss].

I tried getting to grips with feeddemon but I can’t really understand how it managed to bring more traffic to your site. I thought the idea of FD was to organise feeds you subscribe to not to promote your own feed. Did I miss something somewhere? Could you point me in the right direction please.
Thanks alot.

huh? I’m not really sure where you got the idea that I’m trying to promote my own feed with FD.
My comments about traffic are due to the fact that I’ve only been blogging for a few weeks; the increase in traffic has come from blogging about my work in helping to test FD version 2.
If you want general FD help go to the official site.

Spyder, apologies for the confusion. I stand corrected.
